Officers investigating a burglary at an address in Winchester have charged a man.

Bradley Coombes, 39, of Hyde Gate, Winchester, has been charged with burglary dwelling – with intent to steal.

It comes after officers received a report that entry was gained to a property on Hyde Gate and £600 in cash was stolen at around 2.30am on Tuesday 23 April.

Detectives from the Northern Area Crime Team investigated the report and charged Coombes.

He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court earlier today (29 April) and was remanded into custody.

Coombes is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 29 May.
