A man has appeared in court having been charged with a house burglary in Winchester.

John Connors, 27, of no fixed abode, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 27 April, having been charged with the offence of burglary dwelling and theft – no violence.

The charge relates to a burglary at a house in Priors Dean Road, Harestock, on Wednesday 6 September, 2023. A number of items, including gold and silver jewellery, were stolen.

Connors was remanded to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 29 May.
