A man has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence following a proactive stop in Aldershot.

Officers stopped a BMW car on Gordon Road during a patrol last night (12 February).

Cannabis, two phones and a large amount of cash was seized after officers searched the vehicle.

A 28-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B.

He remains in custody and our enquiries are ongoing.
