Safe At Home Hubs in Portsmouth: Thursday 25th November

Evening everyone,

We just wanted to let you know about some Domestic Abuse sessions we'll be holding tomorrow on White Ribbon Day, which is a campaign to end violence against women.

PCSO Chloe and PCSO Stevie (pictured) from your Portsmouth Central neighbourhood team will be holding a Safe at Home Hub at Asda, The Bridge Centre, on Thursday (25 November) to offer support and advice for anyone experiencing domestic abuse.

Chloe and Stevie will be at the front of the store by the tills between 3pm and 5pm. If you’re out shopping and are concerned about domestic abuse, whether it be yourself or someone you know, we are here for you. Please come and talk to us, you will be able to talk in a private space away from other shoppers.

Meanwhile, PC Boyd and PCSO Reed will be conducting mobile beat surgeries tomorrow (Thursday) to raise awareness of White Ribbon Day.

They will be at:

Fratton Way car park between 11:00am-11:40am

Waitrose, Marmion Road between 12:00pm-13:00pm

South Parade Pier between 2:00pm-2:40pm

Highland Road (opposite the Festing Pub) between 3:00pm-3:40pm

These sessions will mark the annual White Ribbon Day, taking place this year on Thursday (25 November). White Ribbon Day, as well as the 16 days of action that follow it, is a campaign to end violence against women. The campaign asks communities, organisations and workplaces to come together and say no to violence against women.
