Three arrests made in connection with motorbike thefts in Eastleigh


Officers have now made three arrests in connection with two motorbike thefts in the Eastleigh area since the turn of the month.

A 21-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle following a report of a stolen black Honda on Blenheim Road on Saturday 1 June. Incident number 44240229294 refers.

He has since been released on conditional police bail until Sunday 1 September, pending further enquiries.

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy and 18-year-old man, both from Southampton, were arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle following a report of a stolen black Honda on Mitchell Road on Saturday 1 June. Incident number 44240229428 refers.

Both have been released on conditional police bail until Monday 2 September, pending further enquiries.

A further motorbike theft was reported on Longster Road on Saturday 8 June.

During the incident, a black Suzuki was stolen. Enquiries remain ongoing in connection with the theft. Incident number 44240241898 refers.
