A man has been charged after officers found Class A drugs and more than £400 in cash during a proactive patrol in Basingstoke.

Officers stopped a man on Upper Sherborne Road in January and found Class A drugs, two phones and £429.51 in cash.

Oliver Brandao, 21, of Branagh Court, Reading, has now been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A and acquiring / using / possessing criminal property.

He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court today (16 July).
