GUESS WHO'S BACK! – Gosport’s Insp Warne and Sgt McCarthy (you may remember them from one of Julys most popular posts 😉 ) were out and about yesterday afternoon when they saw two people on Mumby Road, that are known to shoplift. When the officers tried to engage with them they took evasive action but were soon caught up with and found to be in possession of items stolen from a shop on the High Street. The theft was confirmed by one of our PCSO’s who had just been to the shop and had had the theft reported to them.

The two shoplifters were arrested and taken to Portsmouth custody centre where they were later interviewed, they have been bailed for further enquiries. A file will be prepared and they will receive a summons to attend court.
