New Milton man sentenced for causing actual bodily harm during domestic incident


A 28-year-old man from New Milton has been sentenced following a domestic-related incident earlier this year.

Jack David Marsden, of Marryat Road, appeared before Southampton Crown Court yesterday (Thursday 19 September).

He had previously pleaded guilty to assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm at an earlier hearing.

Marsden, who had been remanded in custody since his arrest, was sentenced to an 18-month community order and a maximum of five rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must also complete a 30-day accredited programme.
