Two men have been arrested after officers found a large quantity of drugs following a proactive stop in Aldershot yesterday. Officers stopped a man walking on Manor Road and found more than 50 bags of cannabis at around 10.15am on Wednesday 9 October. A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B. Officers then carried out further enquiries and attended an address on Manor Road at around 12.30pm. A man outside the address attempted to grab a Taser from an officer but was arrested at the scene. Following a search of the property, a large amount of cannabis and cash was found. All items have been seized. A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B and common assault of an emergency worker. Both men remain in custody while our enquiries continue. | ||||
