A man has been arrested after officers seized suspected Class A drugs near Aldershot.

Officers spotted suspicious activity linked to a vehicle on Weybourne Road, Aldershot, at around 10pm on Saturday 26 October.

The car was then driven over the border into Tongham and came to a natural stop on Grange Road.

Officers carried out a search of the vehicle and located eight bags of suspected Class A drugs and £120 in cash. All items were seized.

A 28-year-old man from Rowley Regis, West Midlands, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.

He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
