A man has been arrested after officers located a suspected stolen car in Farnborough yesterday. Officers on patrol spotted a vehicle believed to have been stolen and attempted to pull the driver over on Cody Road on Monday 28 October. The driver failed to stop and exited the vehicle before running off at around 3pm. He was later located and arrested. The vehicle, a Volkswagen Golf, was located near Brookhouse Road and was seized at the scene. A 21-year-old man from Farnborough was arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling – with intent to steal and driving a motor vehicle dangerously. He remains in custody while our enquiries continue. Officers are continuing to investigate yesterday’s incident and would like to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
