We wanted to let you know that we are again this year launching the ‘Christmas Crackdown’.

This is where we have multiple community events during the run up to Christmas. Crime trends often change with the seasons. We find an increase in scams and pick pocketing around this time.

Theft from motor vehicles is still occurring! Please can we remind you to double check your vehicle doors are locked and DO NOT leave valuables inside.

As we know our ordering of goods on line often increases this time of year. Delivery companies often leave parcels on door steps. Please be aware that this encourages criminals to take items from door steps. It might be worth going into your settings and seeing if there are other delivery options you could consider i.e leaving with a neighbour etc 

Part of the ‘Christmas Crackdown’ will involve crime prevention stalls, scam talks and meet & greets.

This way we can offer crime prevention advice and speak to as many people as we possibly can to help keep you safe this Christmas.
