Can you help?

We’re investigating a report that an 11 year-old girl was touched inappropriately over her clothing in Liphook shortly before 4pm on Wednesday 13 November.

The girl who was with friends at the time on Portsmouth Road described being ‘bumped into’ by a man she didn’t know, who then touched her inappropriately over her clothing. She was not physically hurt and left with her friends.

We’re carrying out enquiries in the area today to establish what happened, including reviewing CCTV. The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out regular patrols over the coming days. Anyone with any concerns or relevant information can speak to one of these uniformed officers.

At this early stage of our investigation we are working hard to identify the man involved.

The victim described him as:

  • White.
  • Aged in his 50’s.
  • He had a receding hairline.
  • He was wearing a beige jacket, chequered shirt and jeans.
