Residential Burglary - Stanmore Lane 15/11/2024

Good Morning Resident,

On Friday 15th November, several of my colleagues from the Winchester Neighbourhood Team were deployed to a house burglary on STANMORE LANE, near the ROMSEY ROAD junction.

At 18:15 the suspects were sighted on camera in a garden on DRAYTON STREET, however entry was not made into the property itself.

It is believed that the suspects have then walked down STANMORE LANE and have entered an address between 18:15 and 18:45, accessing the property by jumping the garden fence and entering a rear door.

Attending officers have completed house to house enquiries in the immediate area, and identified two suspects;

- Two suspects, one large build, one smaller

- Both approximately 5ft10 - 6ft

- Suspect 1 (large build) black jacket, beige baseball cap, grey North Face joggers, black trainers with white soles and a large black duffel bag

- Suspect 2 (small build) male, medium length untidy black hair, black coat, blue hooded jumper with the hood up, black trousers, black shoes and a black backpack

Small valuables have been reported stolen, including items from the fridge.

Have you been offered anything recently that seemed too good of a deal to be true?

Do you recognise the descriptions above, or have heard anything in the local community?

Do you have any CCTV that seems suspicious or relevant?

If so, please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 44240499128.

Many Thanks,

PC Will Andrews 28024
