Good morning,

As I write this, it’s still dark and the wind is battering the windows of Yateley Police Station.

The clouds of Storm Burt has properly set in over Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, wind and rain persists over Hart, and our roads are seeing the effect of this with trees causing obstructions on our highways.

We’re seeing a weather warning up to midnight this evening for both wind and rain. Please only leave the house if absolutely necessary today to keep yourself and your precious cargo safe. 

We’re on duty throughout the day, call 101 if you need us or 999 in an emergency. 

Hampshire Highways are contactable on 0300 555 1388, or via their website www.hants.gov.uk/transport/highways. You can use this to report highway disruption directly to the correct people.
