Dear All.  As I am sure you were all aware that Wednesday was the spectacle that is Fleet Festivities,  This was my very first experience of this event.  What a wonderful sight to see the High Street thriving.  The combination of the stalls and the stores was amazing.  Myself and my colleagues were present throughout the event.  I managed to walk 17,500 steps.  On speaking to most (there were a lot) of the stall holders and shops, they  were all having a successful day.  The stage was amazing and I was lucky enough to see the Christmas tree lights being switched on.

You will be pleased to know that we did not have to disperse anyone from the Town.  Despite there being a few issues within the Hart shopping centre, we were able to attend extremely quickly and stop things from escalating.  I will make sure that in future events that this will be stopped even earlier.  Overall, I would class the event as a huge success and hope that we have many more. #PCTerry
