Officers investigating the death of a man on Station Road, Netley have this morning (Friday 20 December) made three further arrests.

An 18-year-old man from Netley and an 18-year-old man from Eastleigh have both been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A 36-year-old woman from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

It follows the arrests of an 18-year-old man from Southampton yesterday (Thursday 19 December), also on suspicion of murder.

A 15-year-old boy from Netley, who was previously arrested in connection with the incident, has since been released from custody and no further action taken against him.

The arrests follow a report of an injured man on Station Road at 6.26pm on Wednesday (18 December).

On arrival, officers located a man with a stab wound. Despite the best efforts of officers, paramedics and members of the public, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
