CCTV image released after phone taken from ASDA in Portsmouth

Do you recognise these people?

We are appealing for witnesses and to identify a man and a woman we’d like to speak to after a mobile phone was taken from ASDA in the Bridge Shopping Centre.

We received a report that at around 11:50am on Thursday 17 October, a man in his 70s accidentally left his mobile phone in a shopping basket. A second man was then seen to pick up the phone and put it in his pocket before leaving the store.

We have been conducting enquiries and are releasing a CCTV image of two people we'd like to talk to, who may be able to help us with our investigation.

If this is you, or you know who these people are, please contact us by calling 101, or going online to How to tell us about an existing case or report | Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, quoting incident number 44240452186.

You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, or by visiting their website, below;
