PD Diesel and colleagues were hard at it again last night (Wednesday 8 January), this time arresting an 18-year-old man from Totton on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal. The arrest followed a report, shortly after 11pm, of a suspicious person in the area of Eling Infant School. Officers from Lyndhurst District Policing Team and Romsey DPT were quickly on the scene, along with PD Diesel and handler. After a foot pursuit in the local area, PD Diesel and his determined partners in crime prevention soon caught up with and detained the individual described. A stop and search followed, which unearthed various items, including tools and lead flashing. The man was also arrested on suspicion of going equipped for burglary and possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place. He remains in police custody at this time. #OneDetained *We'll be sure to bring you a photo of PD Diesel, if we can get our hands on one. We know you love our police dogs! | ||||
