Two men have been arrested after officers found suspected Class A drugs following a proactive stop in Basingstoke yesterday. Officers were patrolling the Oakridge area when they noticed suspicious behaviour linked to a Mercedes car on Cherry Tree Walk at around 1.20pm on Thursday 9 January. Following a search of the vehicle, officers found suspected Class A drugs in a coat pocket. A 30-year-old man from Enfield and a 26-year-old man from Basingstoke were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A. They have been bailed, pending further enquiries. | ||||
