Good evening Winchester!

Following concerns regarding speeding on St. Cross Road which was raised at a recent beat surgery, myself and the local south beat DNO conducted speed enforcement activities tonight with the use of a handheld speed gun.

A number of vehicles were observed during this time and we are happy to report that no vehicle were speeding whilst we were there.

We appreciate that this does not mean the speeding issue does not exist and we will continue to conduct more speed enforcement activities in the near future in this areas and others.
