Image released as part of Waterlooville fraud investigation


Do you recognise this man?

We would like to speak to him in connection with a fraud incident in Waterlooville.

 

It was reported to us that between 7:30pm and 8:30pm on Tuesday 17 December, a man attended an address on Springwood Avenue to buy a phone from a Facebook Marketplace seller. The man paid for the phone with £500 in cash, which later turned out to be counterfeit money.

 

Officers have been conducting enquiries and are now releasing this image of a man we would like to speak to.

 

If you know his identity, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any dashcam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
