Fraud Safeguarding Update - welcome and dates for your diary

Thank you for your message expressing an interest in attending future Fraud Safeguarding Updates.  The purpose of the update is to share fraud safeguarding/prevention advice with you so you are better placed to support your local community.

The updates will be held at midday on the third Thursday of the month, via Teams, every other month, the 2025 updates for your diary are as follows:

Thursday 20 February

Thursday 16 April

Thursday 19 June

Thursday 21 August

Thursday 16 October

Thursday 18 December

Each update with be 30 minutes long, with a short opportunity for Q&A.

There is no need for you to send apologies etc – we look forward to seeing you there – but appreciate you are all busy people and if you are not present we will assume you are otherwise engaged.  Pre-reading may be sent out in advance of an update, and short notes will be circulated after the update in case you are not able to attend.

Regrettably, in the event of an urgent operational issue, it may be necessary for us to cancel a planned update, sometimes at very short notice.  We appreciate this is frustrating, but it’s not a decision that we’ll take lightly so please accept our apologies in advance if this happens.

We send out Fraud alerts weekly/as needed – if you have any questions about any of the alerts please respond directly to that alert, rather than saving your query for the update.

Please feel free to forward this message to NHW co-ordinators you’d like to invite – if they’d like to be included, please message us with their details and we’ll add them to the group.

The same Teams link will be used for each meeting:
