We recently issued an appeal for information following reports of a man following women and girls in Ryde.

This was alleged to have taken place between 7am and 9am on 14 January.

We can now update you that as a result of enquiries, 26-year-old Dominic Crumby, of Daniel Street in Ryde, has been charged with three counts of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.

He has been bailed with conditions and will appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on 14 February.
