DRIVING DO’S AND DON’TS – a driver made a bit of a bo bo this evening so perhaps it is a good time to run through a couple of do’s and don’ts for driving around Gosport…

 DO – make sure you have the required insurance to drive the car you are in
 DO – make sure the car you are driving has a current MOT

 DON’T – drive the wrong way down a ONE WAY road towards a police vehicle
 DON’T – already have enough points that the above infractions will cost you your licence

If you haven’t worked it out already, one of our team was driving back to the station when the car in question was heading  towards them,  the wrong way down Thorngate Way. The driver was spoken to, some checks were made and before you know it they were walking home (having been reported for the traffic offences) and a recovery van was called for.

Don’t be like this driver, do pay full attention to the road signs and make sure your docs are in order.   👍🏼
