A 42-year-old man from Southampton has been charged with two counts of shoplifting from two stores in the city.

Jan Magnus Hansen, of Tunstall Road, has been charged with a theft from Co-op, Portsmouth Road on Friday 7 February and another from Co-op, Shirely Road on Monday 20 January.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 10 February).
