Man charged after suspected Class A drugs found in Winchester


A man has been charged with drug supply offences after officers stopped a vehicle in Winchester.

 

Officers were on patrol at around 10pm on Saturday 8 February when they stopped a vehicle in Easton Lane.

 

A search of the vehicle was conducted. Suspected Class A drugs, cash and identity documents were seized.

 

The driver of the vehicle was arrested.

 

Nikola Kirilov, 20, of Alma Road, Southampton, has been charged with possessing with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, possessing a false identity document and acquire/use/possess criminal property.

 

He is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 10 February).
