A 56-year-old man from Winchester is due to appear in court to face a charge of arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.

It follows a report of a fire at a property on Suffolk Drive, Chandler’s Ford on Sunday 1 September 2024.

Following the issuing of a postal requisition, Patrik Belle, of Winnall Valley Road, is due to face the charge when he appears at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday 3 March.
