Not long to go until Petersfield Police Station will be open for business!

Dear Resident,

Did you know Petersfield will once again have a Police station open to the public?

Renovations to transform the old Barclays bank in The Square are on track to finish by the summer. The new station will be open to the public to report crime, get updates on cases, and seek advice and support.

This is part of Police and Crime Commissioner Donna Jones’ commitment to increasing visible, accessible policing. Last year, the Commissioner opened seven more police stations and front counters across Hampshire & the Isle of Wight.

The hope is that having a new permanent base in Petersfield town centre will increase police visibility and help build the vital relationship between police and the community, who have been without a police station for so long.

The date the station will open will be announced soon, along with opening times and the policing teams that work out of the new station, right in the centre of Petersfield!

You can stay up to date with all of the Commissioner's news by visiting:  https://www.hampshire-pcc.gov.uk/news

Alternatively, sign up to the Commissioner's monthly newsletter and never miss a thing! https://www.hampshire-pcc.gov.uk/commissioner/my-newsletter

If you have questions about the new station please let us know. The Commissioner will be happy to answer any concerns or queries you may have.
