Our Special Constabulary volunteers show courage, teamwork and compassion on a daily basis to make a real difference to people’s lives in the communities they serve.

We look for all kinds of skills, because we know it takes all kinds of people to protect the public. Problem solving, compassion, resilience, respect, courage and teamwork.

During this event we will cover what it's like to be a Special Constable on the Isle of Wight, the recruitment, application and selection process, and will be able to answer any questions you may have. You will also hear testimonies and have the opportunity to speak to some of our serving Specials.
