Officers investigating a high value business burglary in Southampton are appealing to the public for information.
At 1.30pm on Wednesday (12 March) a man entered H&T Pawnbrokers on East Street and stole jewellery to the value of around £20,000.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
We have been carrying out enquiries and now have these images of a man, seen in the area at the time, who we would like to speak to in connection with our investigation. | |
We appreciate that his face is covered, however we are hopeful that someone may recognise him from his clothing. He is described as wearing a bright yellow raincoat with a grey hooded top underneath, dark coloured trousers, a baseball cap and a dust mask with a red fixture in the middle of it covering his face. He also had a thin framed, dark coloured bicycle with him and appeared to be carrying some kind of tool wrapped in material.
Do you recognise the man pictured? Did you see him in East Street or the surrounding areas on Wednesday afternoon?
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 44250109644.
