A man has been charged with theft from motor vehicle offences following reports that vehicle parts had been stolen in Hartley Wintney. 

We received reports that items including wheels, tyres and camper van fittings worth £26,500 had been stolen from two vehicles at Hartley Wintney Garage on London Road on 21 June last year.

Officers launched an investigation and arrested a man in connection with the incident.

Joe Rudge, 26, of Little Vigo, Yateley, has since been charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle.

He has been bailed with conditions and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday 22 April.
