A woman has been arrested on suspicion of a drug driving offence after officers carried out a proactive stop in Basingstoke yesterday.

Officers noticed suspicious activity linked to a Mini car on Churchill Way West at around 11am on Thursday 27 March.

A 68-year-old woman from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.

She has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
