Using the #LetsTalk survey our Community has asked us to target Vehicle offences and PC Carey is leading Operation Sidlaw as our response.
Today whilst on proactive Op Sidlaw patrols, PC Carey observed this car driving below the standard expected.
A vehicle stop soon uncovered that the driver only had a Provisional Licence, no Insurance and a defective tyre.
The car has been seized using Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act and the driver has been summonsed to Magistrates Court.
Thank you to the wonderfully polite children from Broadlea Primary School who waved and spoke to us as they walked home - a credit to their School 🙂
