A man has been charged with shoplifting in Fleet.

We were called to a report that items worth £21.15 had been stolen from Sainsbury’s on Fleet Road on 3 April.

Officers launched an investigation and made an arrest in connection with the incident.

Matthew Jutsum, 38, of Turgis Road, Fleet, has been charged with one count of theft from a shop.

He has been bailed with conditions and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on 22 April.
