Partial closure order served on Southampton flat connected with anti-social behaviour and criminality

Officers from Southampton's Weston & Woolston neighbourhood policing teams have secured a partial closure order as they continue to clamp down on anti-social behaviour and drug related activity in the city.

Yesterday (Wednesday 16 April), they presented Southampton Magistrates Court with evidence of criminal behaviour at the address on Victoria Road, Woolston.

The partial closure order was granted and it now means that no-one other than those authorised on the court order will be allowed to enter or remain at the address for three months.

If they do, they will be committing a criminal offence and can be arrested.

We hope that orders of this nature show that we are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity which cause harm and misery within our communities.

This address has caused multiple issues for the local residents and we are pleased that through the dedicated work of local officers we have been able to secure this order.

We will continue to target individuals, and their associated addresses, who are insistent on causing harm and misery through their involvement with drugs and other criminality.

Please keep reporting information to us about anti-social behaviour and drugs supply by either calling 101, or visiting our website. We will listen and we will take action.
