Officers investigating a road traffic incident on Long Lane, Holbury are appealing for witnesses and information.

The incident is reported to have occurred at approximately 9.39pm yesterday (Thursday 1 May).

During the incident, the passenger of a white Ford Transit, travelling between Blackfield and Holbury at the time, suffered serious injuries after reportedly exiting the vehicle.

The man in his 30s from Southampton remains in hospital in a life threatening condition.

We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident. Were you traveling along Long Lane, in either direction? Do you recall seeing a white Ford Transit (flatbed) which was transporting a motorbike? Did you see the incident itself, or do you have any dash cam footage which could assist us in our enquiries?
