We are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of attempted theft from motor vehicle incidents at service stations in Fleet and near Winchester. It was reported that between 4.25am and 4.37am on Friday 30 May, people tried to access the back of a lorry at Fleet Services southbound. Nothing was stolen (44250235321). It was reported that between 11pm on 29 May and 5.30am on 30 May, a lorry was accessed after the lock was cut at Fleet Services southbound. Nothing was stolen (44250235351). It was reported that between 10pm on 29 May and 4.35am 30 May, a lorry was accessed after the lock was cut at Winchester Services northbound. Nothing was stolen (44250235330). Since these incidents were reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and would like witnesses to come forward. Officers are also investigating whether these reports are linked to any similar reports from earlier in the week. Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness any suspicious behaviour?
