Witnesses sought after attempted vehicle theft and criminal damage in Southsea |

Officers investigating a reported attempted vehicle theft and criminal damage incident in Southsea are appealing for witnesses and information. Officers were patrolling in Southsea on Sunday 28 September, when they were approached by two women who reported that a man on Duisburg Way had attempted to steal their car. Officers attended and arrested a 24 year-old man from Portsmouth on suspicion of attempted theft of a motor vehicle and criminal damage. He has since been released on conditional bail whilst enquiries continue. As part of our enquiries, officers are keen to speak to any witnesses, including the two women who initially approached them.
